Our mental health is an important component to our overall health, and sometimes we need support to feel better. If you are struggling there’s no need to do so alone. My philosophy is that although life can present us with stressors or suffering that may feel unmanageable, we all have a deep well of healing strength inside of us. By building a safe, compassionate environment for your therapeutic process, I can travel beside you in your journey to healing and wellness.
I have an array of experience working with children, families, adolescents, and adults in settings such as Partial Care, Intensive Outpatient, and in the community. I have helped children and adults with needs related to adjustment / life changes, anxiety, panic, depression, trauma, and grief. I encourage tapping into the mind-body connection to promote healing. My therapeutic approach is a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. I also utilize many other therapeutic techniques tailored to your individual strengths and needs to build your coping skills and distress tolerance. My certifications include NCC (Nationally Certified Counselor), CCAP (Clinically Certified Anxiety Professional), and CCTP (Clinically Certified Trauma Professional).
