Cynthia Mellitz, LPC
I have been working in community mental health for 15-plus years and love working with children and families. I obtained my master’s degree at Rowan University in 2010 in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and then completed a post master’s certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis. My focus is working with children, adolescents, families, as well as couples in outpatient and in-home settings. I have worked in two private practice settings for 6 plus years and in an intensive outpatient setting. I hold a license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in NJ and PA.
My specialties are working with young adults and children. I have a certification in Dialetical Behavioral Therapy, adoption therapy, and focus on mindfulness-based stress reduction. I have worked for many years doing family therapy and reunification therapy.
Growth happens when we step outside our comfort zone. Feeling stuck is normal, and sometimes we need a therapist to help us plant the seed of growth. Please reach out if you have any questions or thoughts. I'm here for you.
